A customer told me about their feature request, so I'm putting it here for them:

At the moment, if you create a recurring event, it will continue into the future indefinitely. If the series is at some point no longer needed, you have to delete future events.

This is not very intuitive and a bit inconvenient, if you know from the start that a series will only have a certain number of events.

So the idea is to offer an option to set the amount of events and / or an end date for the series, after which no new events will be created for this series.
