For example, you could put different links on several pages that link to the News Center, but each time some filter would be preselected: Link to all news from one category, for example, or to all news containing a certain label.

I was just about to submit a new request when I found this one. We also would love to do this, especially with Categories or Sections. Same use case Peter mentioned. But even just within a sentence a link can be nice sometimes, like if you're telling people about a new category and want to link to the posts there.

This would be a great additional function if combined with cover stories: Like showing for cover stories based on news section A with a link to newscenter "More news of A" which takes it parameters from the cover stories.

We have frequently problems of fitting all news into a cover story macro, but we can not link directly to newscenter with preselected filters.
