Hey Nina,
thank you for reaching out.
As of now, I cannot give you an estimation. There's not that many votes on this ticket, compared to others, and we have to consider our resources. But, since this one looks to me like something that shouldn't take too much effort to implement, I'll take it to the dev team for an estimation of the work needed. If you vote for this issue, you should receive notifications about comments and status changes.

Angela Gaida Hi Angela, this suggestion was done a while ago. Do you have an update on when/if we can expect this feature?
We just ran into the same problem. A call-to-action button like this is quite important :)

I like this. We push all our users to subscibe to relevant spaces, but the Subscibe to news feature is still not heavily used/unknown. It would be great to have the option to add a direct link to a blog post.

Hey Patrick Albrecht, thanks for this idea, I like it!
Where would you expect to find that link? Where would you look for it?

Angela Gaida: A Confluence user that asked for this feature wanted to add the link to a blog post which goes something like this:
[...]If you wanna stay up to date with news regarding this exciting project, please click on this link to add the project space to your news feed. You can then find all new blog posts on the intranet start page.[...]

Patrick Albrecht: thanks for your answer. I figured something like that. My question however was aimed in a different direction. Imagine you are the author of this news. In order to offer your readers that link, you have to know the link or how to embed it in your text.
How would you expect this to work? Where would you expect to find the link that you can then use in your text?

Angela Gaida: To me adding a third icon to the
Subscribe to news
popup would make sense.Angela Gaida
Patrick Albrecht: Thanks for that suggestion. :)
