My Contacts with Letter-Based Choose

On the Page My Contacts or Persons, we want to choose a letter and the output is like the first letter of the surename. For example: The letter M for the Surename "Maier" or "Müller".

I'm closing this ticket, because it's not really possible to implement. There is no field containing last names reliably in every Linchpin instance - only if you configure one. But, we have made big changes to the people directory with very powerful search and filter options.

Please have a look at those, and see if those might help.
