More layout settings
The theming is only adding the menu navigation, resizing the header and allows to play with the colour theme. All of the Linchpin Intranets look similar because there are not enough flexibility and layout options. Some example or missing layout features: - No header: logo placed into navigation menu bar - Even bigger height for the header - Change width of the header and pages - Change the global font, to upload own font - Round corners more/less - Different menu selection type (underline, triangle under element, etc) - Edit icons on the top right corner: remove / add icons - More flexible footer : remove everything / only 1 column / Confluence content or at least more possibilities (icons, images, background image, one liner, etc) - Possibility to manage the content of the Confluence Panel and Linchpin Panel -> add / remove elements, use Confluence content, etc.
Make Footer configurable
Currently the Linchpin footer is not fully configurable. It would be helpful to easily - change existing colums (Help, Intranet Tools, Admin) - hide unused columns / links and create new ones instead e.g. we would like to add company specific help links or (c)-Text to the footer Footer is handled via a table without IDs to use for CSS modifications which is not so user friendly.
Sorting of favorites in alphabetical order
In addition the default sorting of favorite pages and spaces, could there be an option for users to sort favorites in alphabetical order? A simple button "A-Z" to click upon would be sufficient. If possible, the system should save this setting for the user.
Layout of Linchpin Teasers as part of Space Layout
10 different styles of Teaser Boxes are not enough to pick up and display the color variations of several different Space Layouts. If the design of Teasers could be controlled via the Space Layout, each Space would have its own design options for Teaser Boxes and could adjust them to its own Space Layout.
Multiple Linchpin Dashboards
Right now, there is only one Linchpin dashboard, and if this does not fit some users, those need to be directed to space start pages. While this existing feature works as advertised, I want to suggest a more elegant way: As an administrator, I want to be able to configure multiple instances of the Linchpin dashboard for different user groups. This would reduce the number of spaces with only one page (especially, if there are a lot of different user groups) and give more usable space without the left page hierarchy.
Do not limit the header's size to minimum height
The header of the Linchpin layout is limited to 80 pix minimum. This allows layout best practises, true. The reason why I favour a smaller header is that a wiki does not only display pages, but edits them as well. Having devices like tablets or laptops with small(er) screens limits the edit view in high, if header and navigation menu is big.
Sidebar - Jira Issues Tab - own JQL
Really cool feature. But at the moment i dont see any chance to give that item a custome JQL. At the moment all assigned issues are shown. Nice but doest help. We have JQL/Filter with "All my due issues". That would be nice. One JQL for global system would do the trick.
Reduced (animated) header when scrolling
Currently the header takes a lot of space and is either sticky (fixed) or disappears when scrolling - depending on the settings. It would be nice to have the option to have a reduced narrow header with navigation (e.g. without flyouts or as a burger menu) and some hidden or reduced elements when scrolling down - and the full header when scrolling to the top again.
Possibility to edit navigator menu
The compass in the top right menu is static. Customers want to be able to add and remove content. Something similar to the app launcher would be great but with, instead of the apps, the different hubs including self built hubs like user directory with Linchpin, pinboard, etc.)
