Disable Confluence space permissions in Extranet spaces
It is confusing that a space admin, can manage permissions via "Extranet Users" and still has the option to user the default Confluence space permissions functionality. This also leads to configuration errors, when assigning external users via the Confluence permissions interface. This interface should not be available for normal space admins, but it should be possible to limit access to specific users (e.g. members of specific groups).
unique email address
Hello, it would be great if not only the username field but also the email address field would be a unique field. The background is that for some users there are multiple accounts, although this is not needed.
username validation for new external users
Our experience of the last years has shown that many external users have been created multiple times (sometimes from different space owners). Therefore we believe that it would be helpful if the sys admin had the option to specify that the username must be an email address (checkbox), or alternatively via a string field in which you can enter a username validation reggex string for field validation. Another idea is, to search over all existing users (Full Name Field, "Forename Lastname") int he "create user" dialog and then "warn" the space admin if a user with the same name already exists.
Possibility to set password guidelines
Passwords should have a certain complexity to protect them against brute force attacks. For this reason, it would make sense to set up a password policy setting. So far there are no options in this regard and therefore it is possible to set e.g.: 1 as password.
Check which extranet spaces are available for an extranet user
As an administrator I want to check which extranet spaces an extranet user has been assigned to, so I can be sure that everything is configured as it should be.
Change content of the Welcome Mail before sending it
Before I send the Welcome Mail to an extranet user, I want to be able to change the content in some cases.
Landing Space for extranet users
Possibility re-direct "extranet-user-group" to one certain space instead of Intranet front page. I know this is part of the Theme add-on but unfortunately it requires linchpin manager.
when removing users from the space, deactivate them
Space administrators should have the ability to de-activate users directly from the space. This helps keep the system clean and the user license down
