Usage Statistics for Linchpin Touch

Today Analytic Apps like Viewtracker cannot be used in Linchpin Touch. Therefore it is completely unclear how intensively certain content (e.g. Pages linked in the footer) is used. Therefore such a function would be very valuable.

I'm not a 100% sure why this has been put to "under review", we probably at one point evaluated the feasability. What I can say though is that we will very likely not work on this in the foreseeable future as the user base for Touch is so much smaller than the other apps that are part of the Linchpin Suite, and we have to prioritize somewhat.

Just to explain: The background for this was that we are not sure if the touch screens are used at all to any significant extent. To find out and evaluate if it makes sense to continue to invest energy in this channel Analytics would be valuable for us. But of course I understand that you have to prioritise.

Marco Leist: Actually, we are interested in the usage of our apps as well, not only for Touch, but also for everything else. So it might well be that we'll start monitoring usage in the future, but probably not via an integration of Analytics. That's also why I don't close this item :)

I totally agree with you. We are evaluating better possibilities to analyze the usage of Linchpin in total - so we should definitely include Lichpin Touch in these efforts.
