Creation of statistics based on the search queries made by users

It would be helpful if the search queries made by users could be analyzed in a statistic. The advantage of this would be that you might then become aware of gaps and be able to adapt your keywords to user behavior.

It would be great to see what Users are searching for.

thank you for your suggestion :)
I think you were referring to the People Search & List macro, do I remember that correctly from the HELP-Ticket? 
Would you expect those statistics to cover searches in the People Directory as well? Would you expect to be able to tell where searches happened (macro on page x versus macro on page y versus people directory, etc.)?
