Turns out that actually was a bug that shouldn't have occurred. We fixed it in version 3.3 of Linchpin User Profiles.

Hey Jan Hartje, thanks a lot for your idea. I'd love to understand the use case behind it. What kind of information is this? What is it used for? Do you want the users to be able to see the information and just not edit it, or would you want to hide it completely?
