Responsive user profile macros

The profile macro now is responsive and doesn't cut off or look bad in narrow columns anymore. Within reason, of course. If the column is 10 pixels wide, there still will be issues ;)
This feature will be available with Linchpin User Profiles 3.6, Linchpin Intranet Suite 5.6 and Linchpin Essentials 2.6, expected release will be in March 2023.

Smaller Profile Makro

Hello,
we are searching for a makro that adds a profile card on the confluence page. Linchpin have something like that but in my opinion it ist to big and filled with to many white spaces. In the attachment I give you an example.
I wish something like in screenshot 2 (modern, simple, small, big pictures). In screenshot two I used Content Responsibility from Linchpin, but the problem is, that I cannot add other fields like in the profile makro...
If you are able to implement in the profile makro a checkbox like compact profile card or something like that it would be perfect.
Thank you!

"If it takes long enough, it will be all right in the end." - I sincerely hope this will be true for this issue. As of today, the profile macro behaves a little bit different than in the original screenshot that Jan Priebe posted, but it still isn't ideal. Especially with long names and placed in narrow columns, the macro looks very ugly and cuts off information, which is not at all what we would like to see.
So, in order to take on this issue, we'd like to hear from you: what would this macro look like in your ideal world, when you place it in a narrow column? What kind of additional data (mail address, phone number, etc.) would you want to be visible? Would it be okay to have the additional data on hover, so it doesn't get cut off in the macro itself?
Will you have several people's profile macros in the same column or only one, and if it's several, then how many are we talking about?
Each opinion from you helps us to understand your needs better and to make the right decisions. :)

We have a similar concern where the profile macros are too big to be flexible enough for all of our use cases. We have been using the (now retired) 'echocat Adam' plugin, which provided a nice and compact macro format while still offering custom field selections. All of the pages that were using that macro are going to have to be heavily re-worked in order to accommodate these new macros from Linchpin, and it will result in a lot more "wasted" space since they are so large.

We have almost the same problem. We built a template and the profiles macro is cut off (like in Jan Priebe 's screenshot). We used the macro 'Content responsibilities'. It helps, but the problem is that if you have more than one contact person, the macro will reach its limit...

Would be nice, if the user profile macro is not only responsive but also using the colors defined in the Linchpin Theme.
