Exclude group of users from ToU

We have a lot of technical users (service accounts) that are used to post or retrieve information on Confluence pages (for example automated reports and other purposes). It would be very helpful to be able to exclude these users from accepting the Terms and Conditions or to accept the Terms and Conditions automatically for all these service accounts.

Hi Team,
Looks like the feature was requested almost 5 year ago. Is there an ETA for this feature? It's causing an issue for us to auto-accept "Terms" for service/local accounts. Hence we are thinking to discontinue this add-on. Please help us prioritize this feature.

Ashish Manandhar: As much as I wish I could give you an ETA, I cannot. With the resources available to us we are shipping three feature releases per year, and for each one we are deciding on what to build. Each feature we build comes from these Canny tickets, but there are several hundred of those and only limited capacity in our development team. So we need to decide how to allocate that capacity to bring the most value to the most people out there.
I can tell you that at this point in time this ticket is among the top 30% of all the tickets, so I am assuming that it will come to our roadmap at some point - at the same time I cannot estimate when exactly that will happen.

"Terms of Use" add-on for Confluence is blocking rest API calls

"Terms of Use" add-on for Confluence is blocking rest API calls. The terms cannot be accepted by local/service accounts that are used to integrate Confluence with third party tools using rest APIs and basic auth or personal access tokens. It's inconvenient to login to Confluence UI using service accounts just to accept the terms and when SSO is enabled, local/service accounts do not have access to UI. Hence, it will be great if the plugin can support
- an exception list of user/group or
- allow rest API calls to bypass Terms or
- allow Confluence admins to ‘Accept the Terms’ on the behalf of service accounts through UI or rest API

Whitelist for pages or actions

When I use terms of use with other apps (e.g. Secure Login for Confluence) I do not want the terms to be shown on the other apps pages. Therefor I want to add certain pages and actions to a whitelist, where the terms are never show.

Will this be on the roadmap soon?
