Allow anonymous users sign in to events
Zlatica Stetinova
Allow the anonymous user to register for the event with e-mail. Since there is the possibility to make the event visible to anonymous users, it would be great if they could also register for the event by e-mail
Daniel Roller
Viewing events (with proper permissions set) as an anonymous user is fixed with Linchpin Events 2.1.2 and now available in the Atlassian Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212305/easy-events-rsvp
Please use this post to discuss and vote for implementing a feature that allows event sign up for anonymous user, thanks! :-)

Daniel Roller: Hello, is it planned to implement a button "sign in anonymously" for regular users? From what I understand in terms of DS-GVO, users should have control over their data, and thus also be able to join an event without having to disclose their profile data.

Matthias Lutz: At the moment this feature is not in the backlog.
As for now you can set an event's participant list to 'hidden' resulting in only the event organizer being able to view participant details. Usually this does the trick since for most events the organizer is required to receive a basic set of information on the people attending.
Another option customers make use of is our Terms of Use app (see here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211248/terms-of-use ) to display GDPR related information on the first login to a Confluence instance. Every user then has to either accept the terms or decline them (meaning the user cannot proceed working with the system).
Is any of those a valid solution for your requirement? Else I'll add your feature request to the product backlog.

That feature missing is a show stopper for us. Would love to see this in a future release!
