At the moment each event has a single start and end date/time. For recurring events it would save a lot of time if there would be an option to mark the event as a series in weekly/biweekly or custom rhythm.
Push notification when new event is set
You get a push notification each time a new event is set. You can personalise your push notifications by choosing your prefered sectors (e.g. "sports", "speeches", "social commitment"), so that you will only get notifications from these sectors.
Waiting list for events that are already fully booked
As an event organizer I want to provide a waiting list for my events. If my event is already fully booked I want people interested in the event to be able to apply anyways and get a notification as soon as there's a free spot again. Please provide any ideas and / or feedback on how the waiting list process (especially for people on the waiting list moving up) could look like in your company as a comment - thanks!
Event Tile Macro
A user suggested to have a macro that shows events (of a space and/or event category) als tile view (as it is used in the Event Hub defalt view).
Email digest for new events
As an Confluence administrator I want to configure digest mails that will be sent out to all users of my instance on a regular basis (monthly, weekly) providing information on upcoming events.
User-specified Tags/Labels at the event level
The categories that are already present are set globally and users cannot add custom categories on the fly. So it would be useful to have additional labels at the event level that every user can add freely to group the events clearly.
Linchpin Event: Required Events
There shoudl be possibility to set an event to mandatory/required, so that all persons of a group have to participate.
Improve email notification template
Currently, if some user sing up an event, Confluence will send a notification email to him, and attach an ics file as attachment, only after user open this ics file and accept it, the event will be displayed in his outlook calendar. But actually, many users will ignore the attached ics file. Could Event Hub add some sentences into the mail, such as: please open the attached file and add it into calendar?
Close event registration
When organizing an event I want to make sure registration is only available until a given date / time. When the date / time provided for the event has passed no more users can sign up for the event. This ensures the event is being prepared for a given number of registrations (e.g. food, seating, location).
