Differentiate between event creator and event speaker
As a user, I want to be able to name one or more speaker(s) for an event, while I am not necessarily one of them.
Notify organizer on participant sign-in
As an event organizer I want to receive a notification(Confluence inbox, email...) whenever a new participant signs in to one of my events.
As an confluence-admin i would like to have the possibility to make certain fields (like End-Date) optional. In most cases our customers want to decide by their own if they fill out fields or not.
Option to "Decline" an event
Usually it is possible to actively accept or decline events. Right now, only accepting is possible. Declining an event would show more precisely, who will attend and who will not, instead of "guessing" that everyone who did not accept the event will not show up.
Overview of events that I'm attending
I want to have an overview of all events that I'm attending in order to improve my time management. Also I want to have a list of events that I attended in the past.
Link the publication date of an event to a blog post
The customer wants to be able to link the event publication to the publication date of a scheduled blog post.
Allow to restrict events individually on per user and per group basis
Allow to restrict each event individually on a per group basis (in addition to the already available per user or per space basis).
At the moment each event has a single start and end date/time. For recurring events it would save a lot of time if there would be an option to mark the event as a series in weekly/biweekly or custom rhythm.
Add Image Option for List View Macro
I'd like to have a list view that displays a thumbnail of the event image.
