I want to promote external events within my Linchpin intranet in order to make my colleagues aware of events potentially of interest. External events are treated as regular events except instead of the application option the user is being presented with a referrer to the external event page (URL). Might be useful especially for: summits trainings public events webinars
At the moment each event has a single start and end date/time. For recurring events it would save a lot of time if there would be an option to mark the event as a series in weekly/biweekly or custom rhythm.
'Create event' permission
As a Confluence administrator I want to grant / revoke the permission to create new events individually for each user / group of users. With this permission I can guarantee that only users eligible to create new events are able to do so.
Advanced calendar functions
For us it would be helpful if the automatically sent mail, when registering for an event, could be customized (e.g. with information and requirements for the event). In addition, it would make sense for us if we could specify in the event settings that registration is only possible until e.g. 3 days before the event. Thanks
Two sign-in options for hybrid events
As meetings are more and more organized hybrid (some participants meet on-site, some particiapants join a remote session) we need a function that allows us to see if a person has signed in for the on-site event or for the remote session. At best, these two buttons will only appear if the event format is hybrid.
Close event registration
When organizing an event I want to make sure registration is only available until a given date / time. When the date / time provided for the event has passed no more users can sign up for the event. This ensures the event is being prepared for a given number of registrations (e.g. food, seating, location).
Since we need to monitor our events, it would be great to have a montoring feature /dashboard at some point. For example: The number of an event category over a year or a specified period or broken down monthly. Or just the option to export a list of all events with categories in the hub (passt and current)
Creation date of events
It seems at the moment there is no way to find out when an event has been created which is really bad. We now had the case where we would have needed this information after a system migration. It would be really great to be able to search for events based on their creation date. Thanks
Use Confluence date format
As a Confluence administrator I want the date and time format of events to use the general configuration of dates and time. Or at least to be able to change the time format to 24-hour clock (no AM or PM) and the date format to day-month-year.
"Team Calendars for Confluence" Integration
It would be very helpful if events can be automatically added and synchronized with a team calendar (e.g. search for a calendar in a dropdown in the event macro). Currently a user must export each single event as an ICS file and reimport each single event as a whole new calendar. Changes to the event are of course not synchronized.
