Microblog

The email notifications for selected microblog topics seem super erratic to our users. I understand how it works ( https://info.seibert.group/display/DOC/E-mail+notifications ), but I can't expect this from our staff; most of them think it's a bug. Would a 24h digest be possible? Instead of the seemingly incomplete notifications at 6/12/18/midnight o'clock?

If you move a thread to another space, the whole Microblog dates change to "now". So basically it "updates" the Blogs instead of just moving.

For an Admin, it would be better to make an analysis on how many users have already subscribed or how many users receives the "Notification by email" when the blog is posted. Further, admins should be able to add bulk users in the Micropost to get notification by email.

A feature allowing to praise colleagues for outstanding work directly in the microblog would be very useful in Linchpin. This "praise" feature would increase team motivation and foster a positive work environment by visibly recognizing good performance. Providing an easy way to give praise within the intranet would improve communication and team cohesion while promoting a culture of appreciation.

As a space admin I want to export a space to a single PDF file using the space tools. The content of a microblog should be included in the PDF file. Currently, a page with a microblog contains only the page title and a grey frame. Our example: A space was created for collaboration with an external partner. A microblog was used as a replacement for email. With the help of a single PDF file, the content of the space, including all communication, could easily be made available internally or externally.

It should be possible for Microblog posts to set an expiry date (analogous to news articles).

It would be nice, if we could generate a Label list or hashtag list based in Microblog-Posts (and not only based on pages). With click on a tag in the list all postings containing that tag would be listet.

Our users would love to have the opportunity to switch off email notifications for a single post. Background/Use case: Sometimes there are longer discussions under one post, but for me as a user this topic is not interesting (anymore). Unfortunately I recieve email notifications every time someone replys to this posting. At that point I would like to unwatch this single post but still revieve emails for new postings in this microblog.

When a microblog post was commented by many people and you open them all to see what was written in the first few, you then have to scroll a lot to reach the end to enter an own comment (gets especially annoying at 50+ comments). A "jump to the end" button would be helpful.

There should be a view which lists popular posts within a certain time period.
