Do not hide approved news after editing
If an author wants to add more content to an approved blog post and then edits, the news disappears back into *ENB-Space and is not visible to non-author and non-editor users any more. It would be great if the post would remain published in the last approved version until the new version was approved.
Bring Linchpin News to Microsoft Teams
Wouldn't it be great to feed Linchpin News into "Microsoft Teams" channels?
News: Multiple Default Pictures
It would be nice to be able to define multiple images. the system would then rotate the pictures so that different pictures would be shown for arcticles without picture.
combination of personal news and corporate news macros
A single macro for personal and corporate news. One stream necessary to see all news at a glance. Advantage of personal subscription in personal news and configuration in corporate news necessary. Mandatory subscription is not enough, because rule dependent content (e.g. location specific)is missing. only Corporate News is not enough on the other side, because personal subscription is missing.
Subscription list can be filtered
Right now, when selecting spaces to subscribe to, I get a list of all spaces available to me. This list needs to be sortable and filterable, especially in instances with dozen or even hundreds of spaces.
"Spaces by category" macro - Additional order configuration option (alphabetically)
As an editor, I would like to adjust the order for the displayed spaces within the macro "Spaces by category" Currently, the order for the displayed spaces is a mix of "subscribed spaces" and an alphabetic order. It would be helpful to have an additional configuration option to really display the spaces in an alphabetic order without dependencies on the subscriptions. (especially if the subscribe icon is not displayed)
Allowing reviewer to save changes after rejecting news
We love the new reviewer workflow where the reviewer can reject a news but our use case is not supported yet: * Our reviewer are also fixing some typos, adding comments etc. for the original author before rejecting the news. They therefore want to save some changes to the blog post and then reject it (or the other way around, doesn't matter to us). The original author should then work on the blog post again and request an approval.
"Short News" without link
Some short, but important news don't fit into "regular news" that are shown in the cover stories on the dashboard and they don't fit into the microblog neither. Those news are only oneliners and have no content. When used in the compact view of the corporate news feed they are still clickable - despite having no content at all, only existing as a single page title. They can't be placed into the microblog instead, because there they would disappear too quickly. A simple solution would be to provide a "no link" option for the compact view, so only the headlines are shown, but can't be clicked so the users won't land on an empty page. (That could still happen from other places, like the news portal, but is less likely to happen.)
Select Frame in video thumbnail
For news in which a video was selected as thumbnail you can select the frame which serves as thumbnail for the coverstory. Alternatively, it would be nice if you could choose a picture but still keep the video functionality.
