Currently, if some user sing up an event, Confluence will send a notification email to him, and attach an ics file as attachment, only after user open this ics file and accept it, the event will be displayed in his outlook calendar.
But actually, many users will ignore the attached ics file.
Could Event Hub add some sentences into the mail, such as: please open the attached file and add it into calendar?

With the upcoming releases of Linchpin Events (version 3.6.0; available within the next few days) and Linchpin Intranet Suite (available early 2022), it will be possible to add events from email notifications to a Microsoft Outlook calendar conveniently.

We are currently working on improving user experience when using Microsoft Outlook with Linchpin Events email notifications. We will keep you updated on the progress here.

We strongly support this Feature Request as we have already received several times the feedback that employees have missed events due to the current "workaround" via the .ics file.
Therefore: Far more user-friendly than adding a hint that the .ics file has to be clicked, would be a real invitation that the user can accept with one click and that leads to an automatic creation of a calendar entry - like you are used to when you receive an invitation via Google or Outlook.

Agreed! There should be a configurable template on the back end that we can use to customize what is sent in the email notification.
