Offer sign-in option only for certain groups of employees

In the create event dialog, we have the requirement to activate registration to the event only for certain employees.
So, as event creator I want to add groups in a field. Employees who are a member of these groups will be able to sign in to the event. Employees who are not a member of the groups indicated will not be able to sign themselves in.

Yes, I agree, a manager should have possibillity to activate registration to the event only for certain employees or groups of employess.
Just these employees will be able to sign in to the event /GDPR/ The manager should see who signed in or not.

Here is my case:
As a marketing manager, I want to be the only one able to register employees to events.

Constance: This is actually already possible with the new Linchpin Events 3.0:
- Create a new event and disable user sign up (or disable sign up for an existing event).
- As the event creator open the event's three dot menu after creation and select "manage participants".
- Register users you want to participate in the event.
- Done!
Please note: All users that you sign up for any event receive an email notification. The event is visible to all participants even if they do not hold permission to view the linked spaces (that usually define visibility). All users can sign out themselves for any event.
Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to define the settings described above as a system default so you have to set them for every event individually. But it's something that we receive as a feedback from time to time so you might want to vote for related ideas such as https://linchpin.canny.io/events/p/globally-restrict-option-to-sign-in-other-users :-)
