Possible to modify the time or date of a series of events

We are facing an issue with one of Linchpin Event's latest features. Indeed, it is not possible to modify the time or date of a series of events. We thought it would be possible to change the date, or time, of a series of recurring events. for example: if we have an appointment every Monday at 10:00 a.m., if one day the appointment time changes, we must create a new appointment and delete the existing one. It is not possible to modify the series so that it takes the new schedule.appointment and delete the existing one. It is not possible to modify the series so that it takes the new schedule.
The current operation of modifying a series of events is not satisfying for our users. This makes the use of creating recurring events not flexible.
Have you plan to change this feature or not ?

Hello Angela, a lot of our events are actually recurring meetings that have some "standard" attendees but are supposed to be publicly accessible for every employee. In our company, it is pretty common that the time or even the frequency of such events change. Thus, it would be great if the series could be modified instead of deleting it and creating a new one.
Of course, participants who have already signed up for a specific event in the series should be automatically notified if the event time has changed or if the even they have signed up for has been canceled (in case of frequency change).
Thanks a lot for looking into this so quickly!

Thanks Binet Sophie for raising this issue and thanks to everyone voting for it. Since the interest in this is so widespread and this ticket gathered so many votes in such a short time, I want to look into it with the development team very soon.
To better understand the issue I'd love to hear from you some real world stories about why you need it. What was the situation in which you sat in front of this and thought "now I would like to be able to change the date or time of this series?"
It might sound trivial to you, but this feature is more than complex and we want to get it just right with your help.
