This is the standard for all messanger APPs and should also be implemented in Linchpin, so that the users always see when there is something new. Without this function, the app makes a "dead" impression and does not motivate to click it.

Please add this for everything in mobile version (news,microblog,events) I can miss push notification but badges are what we are using daily on every App.
