Additional information in news should be versioned like all other content

Since the additional information of a news contain a number of critical content items that are visible to users, all changes should be part of Confluences versioning for blog posts. Then the author of any changes could be identified, and past versions could be restored.
For auditabilty and compliance purposes, this is a must.

I'm closing this issue since it didn't gather any more votes in over three years.

Hey Peter Scheidt,
while I agree on the sentiment, it would mean a major rework of the way this information is stored today.
Also it seems like there's not much interest from other customers or partners, as the missing votes for this item show.
Thus, it's not likely that we'll tackle this in the forseeable future. I'll still leave the item open though, because generally I agree with the idea.

Angela Gaida: Hi Angela, I understand this and hope for some change later. Maybe most users are not aware that this information is not versioned and tracked, they just assume that it is?
Angela Gaida
Peter Scheidt: That's a possibility, yes.
