Implement a function to make bookmarks individually nameable
Angela Gaida
Hey W.R. Lutz,
thanks for your suggestion. I'm assuming that this individual title should only be visible for the respective user, not for everyone. Did I understand that correctly?
Do you maybe have a specific example what your users want to do?

Angela Gaida: The users want to organize the “Confluence” bookmarks like the Bowser bookmarks. With title naming, folders, arrange/order entries

I apologize for the almost provocative question — but WHO comes up with the idea of installing sorting chronologically, based on the creation date?! I honestly had to laugh when I read that...
I have currently saved 26 favorites myself, which I use more or less often.
In order to REALLY find something here in Confluence, I now have a folder in the Chrome favorites bar called “Confluence”, because renaming is of course very easy to do.
For “heavy users”, the current version in Confluence is unfortunately of little use, because with the search function (which is okay) I have to know again what the creator called the page, & unfortunately that won't get any better even with the sorting option mentioned below...
A full text search in the saved entries also comes up with the “rescue”...?!?

W.R. Lutz: thank you so much for sharing this insight, it gave me a good chuckle. This functionality comes directly from Confluence. To improve it, we implemented an option to sort them alphabetically a while ago, which maybe helps somewhat. But I do understand the wish to be able to use your own words to describe stuff you want to find again. Thanks for clarifying :)
