Implementing Linchpin Teaser links as genuin internal confluence links

The link behind a Linchpin Teaser is not treated as an internal Link. It doesn't appear in the Page information of the linked Confluence page.
There is no control option when deleting a page. So deletion results in dead links.
Would be nice and really helpful, if the links can be implemented as internal links. In this case the warning mechanism when deleting a page would work.

Hello and Thank You,
was it a bug or is it a feature? Will it be fixed in future versions?
Angela Gaida
Michael Kniel: Let's say it's a feature bordering on being a bug :D
In the end it doesn't really matter, it is fixed and the fix will be available with Linchpin Suite 5.6 / Linchpin Essentials 2.6, both scheduled for end of March 2023.

Thanks for the suggestion, Michael Kniel.
Since this one could almost be classified as a bug, I'm having the team assess the situation and find out, why this link has a different behavior than other links. Maybe there's a good reason, why we can't have that link as an incoming link on the target page - but maybe it's easily fixable. We'll find out :)
