Sorting of favorites in alphabetical order

I never marked this issue as completed - but it's now possible to sort your favorites alphabetically in the Linchpin Sidebar in current versions.

This would be a helpful feature for our customer too. E.g. sorting the saved for later content as follows:
- Manual individual sorting per user
- Sorting by groups with a folder/dropdown
- Or as Matthias sugested, it would already be helpful if the favorites could be sorted alphabetically
Thanks

As as user, I want to be able to filter my "saved for later" favorites (like I can for "viewed recently" etc.). Any sorting would be an additional benefit, but to be honest, I would rather not waste my time tidying up my trail of interest all the time ;-)

Hey Peter Scheidt
thank you for your suggestion!
The Sidebar is part of the Linchpin Theme, thats why I added your request to this board and put it together with a similar issue

We would actually prefer an individual sorting option via drag&drop, using folders additionally would also be great. Of course "save for later" is a confluence standard feature, but linchpin could sit on top of the raw list of links and give the linchpin users a was of strukturing and sorting the bookmarks in their sidebar menu

Hey Linda Dorn,
thanks for your suggestion. Since the Sidebar is part of the Linchpin Theme, I have moved this issue to the appropriate board and merged it with a duplicate ;)
Christina Wotschel is correct, for this list we currently use the default functionality which is provided by Confluence. But that doesn't mean we can't tweak it or build another, better one. Actually, right now the team is brainstorming ideas (and developing first steps) for improved possibilities within the Linchpin sidebar, so I'll throw this one at our developers and see what they have to say about it. :)

if you have a lot of pages you marked as favorites it gets messy. It would be good to create folders for that or different...
Christina Wotschel
Thank you for your feedback! The "Safe for Later" is a Confluence functionality which means that we unfortunately do not have any impact on this.

Hi Matthias Lutz, since this item would have to be implemented within our Linchpin Theme app, I moved it to that board. I like the idea of having the ability to sort alphabetical as an optional sorting, so the user can sort the way they prefer it.
