Use case: a group of editors would like to push relevant information into company channels without much overhead (such as creating full-fledged News) and interested users can easily get an overview of the current "news ticker" items.

The microblog allows submitting new content easily and offers topic selection. A great addition would be some way of rendering recent content from certain Microblog topics as read-only (i.e. without interaction).

If users are permitted to interact with the displayed content, there should be a link to the "full" Microblog that allows writing replies, liking posts etc.

This functionality could be used as medium in between regular news articles and the very fleeting nature of microposts.
