Hello everyone,

We have your Space Privacy Add-On and are facing the problem that users cannot assign Space permissions if the directory is read-only, which is correct and intended. We have now added a directory that is also writable. This allows users to independently add users to the Space via the Space menu "Extranet Users" in the role of User Manager.

Now we have the problem that users cannot edit their profile because the Crowd directories or our AD do not allow writing user attributes. However, Confluence wants to do this when editing their profile. Therefore, we have now connected two Crowd applications, one for Space Privacy (R/W) and one for Confluence Profiles, which is read-only.

Now we always go there and start switching the Crowd Applications. This means we go to the user directories in Confluence and move the Crowd Application connection up or down depending on the current problem (user cannot assign Space permissions/user cannot edit their profile). This ensures that the respective functionality is available. The add-on (Space Privacy) always uses the first directory it finds.

My feature request would be to implement a select field where you can choose which (CROWD) application should be used to create groups and add users to the corresponding group. Attached is a screenshot of another add-on that has this function.
