At the moment all Launchpad apps are shown on top of search results. There should be an option to disable this, for all searches and/or via CQL parameters.
Currently, all Launchpad apps are always shown at the top of search results. There should be a way to prevent that. In general and/or also via CQL call parameters.

Instead of hiding Launchpad apps generally, I would rather promote that Launchpad Apps as well as Linchpin Events are better integrated with the Confluence search, so that users can leverage the stnandard search functionality to specify which content types they are looking for.

A) What do you mean with "via SQL parameters"?
B) Do you want to disable the searchabilty for Apps for all users of the platform or an option for every user to choose?
I am searching for Lunchpad Apps on an almost daily basis and would miss this feature if it would be deactivated by my admins.

Olaf Stehr: A) I mean not SQL I mean the CQL (you can see in the browser URL line at the search page when you select some filters).
B) If you have many apps then you get many apps search results befor the real search results. This is the need to filter the apps out of the search results. Isn't it easier to find the right app in the Launchpad page? I only wish a filter to restrict the view in the search results.
